Rai the Builder (we hope)

Rai, your Dad and your Uncle Bart grew up playing with Lego. Some of our earliest childhood memories are of playing with Lego from our years in Nigeria. Those Legos came with us to Canada and we played with them, built with them for years and years. Naturally, it has been my dream to see you, Rai, love Lego as much as I did. We've got the Duplos and Legos all ready for you. Thousands of pieces await your eager and curious hands.
So, when will you be interested? No matter how many times we put those blocks in front of you, we just can't get you interested in building anything. You're more interested in dumping them on the floor and scattering the pieces everywhere then in actually putting them together and creating something. We've even tried showing you some of San Francisco's great buildings: the Golden Gate Bridge, of course, and the de Young Museum. No luck. You got no inspiration from those marvels of architecture. We'll keep trying. We're sure the day will come when all you'll need is Lego to keep you entertained for hours, days even. These blocks aren't going anywhere.
