Rai, your love of dogs has received a lot of attention on this blog, so much so that our readers may have falsely been led to believe that you're a one-dimensional guy. That is not so! Sometimes, the toy train set at home or at Grandma and Grandpa's place just isn't enough. When that time comes, you're taken to the San Francisco Zoo, where it's century-old steam train sits waiting... "all aboard!". The miniature steam locomotive, called "Little Puffer", is one of only three 22" gauge Cagney Brothers locomotives remaining of the seven originally built in 1904. The train ran from 1925 to 1978 when it went out of service. In 1998, after years of custom work, it was back in action, just in time for your arrival, Rai. In just a few months, you've probably taken more rides on this train than someone who visited the Zoo from 1925 through 1978! That steam, the whistle, the clickity-clack as it races through the trees -- irresistible!
