The other day, Rai, you got a wonderfully thoughtful gift from another teacher at Galileo. Her mother, who
is apparently a master embroiderer, sent over (all the way from Georgia [the State]!), a couple small blankets for you. Although the blankets themselves are great, the best part is that each has a tiny lion cub embroidered on it. In addition to that are the words, "Galileo Lion Cub" and "Rai".
For those of you who don't know, the high school that we work at is named Galileo Academy of Science & Technology and our mascot is the mighty lion. How appropriate, then, that you, Rai, are a little 'lion cub', the product of two Galileo Lion teachers! Thank you!
