After what seems like weeks of steady cloudy skies and rain, we were out the door the first chance we had when we saw blue skies the other day. It was Sunday morning and we awoke to a beautiful, sunny day. The minute you awoke from your morning nap, we headed outdoors.
The eternal question remained, however; down the hill into the Park or up the hill to Lands End? On that morning, the choice was as clear as the sky.
Winter rains always turn the parched hills of Marin from yellow and brown to verdant green. The few months of green hills are not to be missed. To see these hills, we took you on a walk along the Lands End trail. The entire length of the cliffside trail gives perfect views of the blue Bay, green hills, and the red of the Golden Gate Bridge. How sweet it is to live just minutes from this unbelievable trail. This is something we will never take for granted.
