Recognized as one of Europe's largest "deserts", the Deliblato Sands was a reserve we meant to visit for some time. Unfortunately, this "desert" is slowly being overgrown by small plants and trees. The sweeping expanse of dunes that we expected was nowhere to be found. Still, we found one of the most beautiful, little, wooden churches in one of the towns that borders the park.
