For our long winter vacation during our second year in Serbia, we decided to head east, towards the Adriatic Coast. The weather on the coast during the winter is so mild that it is always a great place to end up during the shorter, darker winter days. Our first major stop would be Dubrovnik, called the "gem of the Adriatic". From there, we would explore the coast a little, spend some time on the island of Korcula, and return to Serbia via a string of beautiful, historic cities and towns in central Bosnia and Hercegovina.
