Three months after entering our home, Lauki has firmly established himself as one of the family. He is loyal, irresistible, and affectionate -- a good combination of traits. Now, it's pretty tough to imagine not having him shower us with love when we come downstairs to greet him in the morning. And, our long walks in the forest with him are just a part of our daily routine now. Although, at five months, he is still definitely a puppy, he is better and better trained daily and we no longer have to worry about losing our socks, shoes or other important household items to his incessant chewing and gnawing. Still, once in a while he does something to remind us why his nickname is what it is, "Born Bad". But, we always remind him of his place in the hierarchy of the household -- although he tries to assert himself as alpha, we quickly re-establish the pecking order with him undeniably at the epsilon position. And so, Lauki Born Bad Epsilon is now one of the family.
