Istanbul's oldest quarter, Sultanahment, contains the trio of ancient wonders that are the Blue Mosque, the Aya Sofia, and the Topkapi Palace. Visiting all three at a leisurely pace, especially with kids, is definitely a full day affair. These three treasures are definitely worth the slow visit. It's hard not to be caught up in the nostalgia of the Ottoman Empire when wandering the halls of these three sites.
