Rai has begun where he ended off in San Francisco. He now attends a theater class here in Singapore weekly and him and Ko see as many theater productions as we can get them tickets for. Recently, they saw several versions of the story of Hanuman and, what Ash calls one of the best productions she has every seen, The Christmas Carrot. Meanwhile, Rai's theater class meets in one of Singapore's famous, colonial "black and white" houses in a lush, green part of town with a lively theater teacher that he already loves. The mix of nature trails and colonial buildings reminds Ash and Rai of the San Francisco Presidio, our home in San Francisco, every Tuesday when they take their one kilometer walk along the Green Corridor to and from theater class.
