Lisa at the Markleeville library reminded us that we really do have the best of both worlds. We have
the ocean and coast and all that the city has to offer (which for us means food and art!) and then, we can escape to the mountains and our place of solitude here whenever we want. She's right, we have a lot to be thankful for. And, one of the benefits of the city that we enjoyed recently was Beauty and the Beast: the Musical -- a very, very special and memorable Christmas Eve treat for Rai and Ko (and us!).
