The Last of the Family is Gone

It was a busy summer in many ways and family visits was no exception. Now, as the last days of summer fade away, we said our final goodbyes to Sterling and his family. The boys had a great time getting to know their cousins better and were sad to see the iPad go, too. Our poor, electronics-deprived kids are enthralled any time they see a hand held device or tv. That's okay, we'll keep depriving them even if it means raising 21st-century illiterate beings. That's okay -- by the time they're old enough, time machines will have been invented so that they can travel back to a time they are more well suited for anyway.
