recently re-opened following a $3 million renovation. Yes, we're still in recession, so it's good to see that there are still funds available for the city's kids (even if those funds were allocated years ago, during better times). Back to my point, though: money does buy happiness. We visited the new playground last weekend and, we can honestly say, we've never seen Rai and Ko happier at a playground. The, dare I say,
hundreds of kids around them also looked pretty happy. Over the past few years, we've seen San Francisco Recreation and Parks renovating and opening dozens of new playgrounds throughout the city but, this one, is the piece de resistance! What a playground! Simply amazing.Still, Rai may have been even happier when we went over to the Bi-Rite Creamery afterwards for some ice-cream and that cost only $2.50, not $3 million.
