annual event, here's a quick summary: Celebrating it's 100th year, this year, this is a 7.5 mile foot race from San Francisco's Embarcadero (on the Bay) to Ocean Beach (where the waves of the Pacific "break"). The "race" portion ends in less than an hour, but the event continues for the duration of the entire day as the race course turns into a parade of costumes and revelry. It seems that one Hallowe'en isn't enough for San Francisco and this one is much more fun, anyway, as it takes place in the daytime! Today, Rai and Ko observed quietly and with wide eyes from the relative safety of their Burley bike carriage.
