The Golden Apple

After six years of hard work and dedication it's nice to get some recognition. As voted by our student body of 2400, I was selected as the "Teacher of the Year" at Galileo High School this year. I've been a Top 10 finalist five years running so it's great to finally have my time arrie. Dozens of our 120 or so teachers are outstanding so it's an honor to be this year's recipient. At the end of the day, however, it's just nice to get some feedback. There are almost no feedback or appraisal systems built into our profession so I'll take any feedback I can get and this is as good as any evaluation. Well, that's enough bragging, i guess. Back to stories about the boys tomorrow...
