As I typed the title of this post, the number really hit me. 134 months. One month is not such a long time. As we work and go through our daily lives, each month passes very quickly. If one month goes by so fast, then 134 of them is not that long at all. Thinking of it that way, it's hard to fathom that Rai has been with us for only 134 of these brief passages of time. He is so much a part of our lives that remembering a time before he was with us is nearly impossible, at this point. There is a paradox here where what feels like an eternity can be captured in just 134 short months. It's incredible, really.
