Sheep Shearing Festival

At this point, we will pretty much make any excuse to visit the Open Air Museum just outside Riga. We could spend every day at this museum. On this particular weekend, an end of summer / sheep shearing festival was taking place, giving us a unique celebration to enjoy while visiting. The end of summer may have arrived, but the flowers were still blooming -- it was a great time to enjoy the old village atmosphere!
