We left early Sunday morning, heading south. On the outskirts of Kaunas, we visited the beautiful Pazaislio Monastery and the Lithuania National Ethnographic Museum (which may be even more beautiful than the Latvian one). From there, it was a long drive through the forests and villages of Dzukija National Park all the way to Druskininkai in the deep south of Lithuania, just minutes from the border of Belarus.
