Ko is 8 years old! It feels insane just writing that. Unfortunately, we have no birthday party photos, and no dinner out with cake photos to share. Ko, who enjoys tabulating all his finances daily, requested that all superfluous birthday activities be cancelled and that he, instead, collect all the money that would otherwise be devoted to those things and put everything towards a giant Lego set. He even had to dip in his Christmas money. As a result, he is now technically in debt but has received the biggest Lego set he's ever seen as a gift and that's saying something considering some of the sets Grandma and Grandpa have given to him over the years! He was also allowed to say exactly how we would spend our Saturday. His decision: stay indoors all day long (and it was a beautiful day outside!), build Lego, and, of course, have sushi and pizza delivered to him. Happy birthday, Ko!
