A Week in England's Southwest - Day 4: Somerset

Somerset is a beautiful shire of rolling green hills and ancient towns. It is here that many of England's most well-known legends reside. After a visit to picturesque Frome and nearby Nunney Castle, we visited England's most beloved pilgrimage site: Glastonbury. In this town, the remains of England's first church protect the tomb of King Arthur. Nearby, at the base of Glastonbury Tor, a sacred well draws spiritual pilgrims from around the world. All these elements have created a modern Glastonbury that is one of the more hippy spots in Britain... just our scene. Nearby Wells is home to the spectacular Wells Cathedral. Another beautiful day in the countryside.
