In 60 A.D., Aquae Sulis was established as a Roman spa town. Today, it is the city of Bath with the Roman baths still intact and beautifully preserved. It has remained England's premier hot spring resort for centuries developing into an elegant city with grand facades. Nearby Castle Coombe, in Wiltshire, rightfully earns its title as the "prettiest village in England". But, of course, the top sight in England is Stonehenge, the most intact prehistoric sight in the world. Another wonderful day out in the English countryside!
