Kampong Glam Street Art

Last weekend, we came across a website that shows the locations of all street art in Singapore. Interestingly, a lot of pins on the map could be found in the heart of historic Kampong Glam. With the map in hand, we hit the back lanes of the Malay Quarter and, while discovering lots of beautiful murals and grafitti art, also discovered some hidden alleys and back roads we never even knew existed. Hopefully this kind of vibrancy of streetscapes spreads out into more of the downtown core.
