Our Hallowe'en this year was a little different than nor
mal. We didn't go trick or treating, and we missed 
the Scare Grove. Instead, we put on some old costumes and went to the River Safari at the Singapore Zoo which was transformed into the Safari Boo. Erring on the side of caution, the event was marketed as a "merry not scary event". It wasn't the Scare Grove, but it was great to be in the River Safari after hours and the heavy mist added some spookiness to an event that was definitely more cute than scary. Since we're used to Hallowe'en stretching out over several days or weeks normally, we also went to a show called the House of Horror at the Esplanade Theaters a few days ago. We're keeping the Hallowe'en spirit alive!
