Last time we went to Chinatown, it was a hot day and, as we had just arrived in Singapore, the midday heat felt a lot worse than it does now. Now, we're proud to say, we are used to it. Our bodies have adjusted. Anyway, back then, that heat made our visit to Chinatown less than perfect and the boys were miserable. We didn't have much of a chance to explore. With lots more to see and discover in Chinatown, we went back there late in the day this past Saturday. Fortunately, we did uncover a whole other side of Chinatown, up the slopes of Ann Siang Hill and down on the other side at Telok Ayer. We love this wholly different part of Chinatown!
