The Overnight Getaway

There's nothing better than kids and, sometimes, there's nothing better than a day without the kids. All parents can attest to the value of the "overnight getaway". After a long and tough year, Ash and I needed a little getaway -- somewhere quiet we could relax and rejuvenate. Lucky for us, we had just the place in mind: Orr Hot Springs. From the yurt we stayed in to the rustic, communal kitchen and dining hall to the beautiful gardens and the springs, everything was perfect. Nearby Hendy Woods made a great stop before driving back to the city.
