Rai, 23 Years Later

Back in 1991, Valiant Comics introduced the character, Rai, in a back-up story within the title, Magnus Robot Fighter. A few years later, Rai received it's own comic and I read my first Valiant comic, Rai and the Future Force. Since then, the name really stuck with me. The rest is history. Then, just as Rai (our Rai) turned five, Rai (the comic character) returned to the comics! Valiant (the publisher), after disappearing for twenty years, is back and now, Rai (the comic), is back, too! The material may be a bit too much for Rai to enjoy right now, but he sure does enjoy seeing his name on the cover of a comic book. Not only that, not many of Rai's friends can also claim to be named after the hero that protects 41st century Japan!
