Tennessee Valley

We've ventured pretty far from home on our Bay Area "day trips" and hikes, so it came as a shock to us when we visited Tennessee Valley in the Marin Headlands for the first time today, and realized that this beautiful spot is just 15 minutes drive from our home. We've visited Muir Beach to the north and Rodeo Beach to the south dozens of times, but never hiked out to Tennessee Beach, right between those two. Now that we've seen it, we know that this spot will be high on our list of day trips for years to come.
