birthday, Rai had a watermelon cake. In other words, there was no cake at all. Instead, Grandma just stacked a bunch of watermelon slices in the shape of a cake. Rai's second and Ko's first birthday parties were more of the same. Chocolate cake? No way! Healthy carrot cupcakes. That's more like it! (thanks again, Grandma!) Ko turned 14 months old today. Did we offer him 14 special treats? Fourteen candies? Fourteen chips? Nope. Fourteen Veggie Booty puffed snacks. Fourteen, no more, no less. Healthy? Could be worse, right?

Ko is 14 Months Old Today!
We keep things pretty simple in this home and birthdays are no exception to that rule. On his first 
birthday, Rai had a watermelon cake. In other words, there was no cake at all. Instead, Grandma just stacked a bunch of watermelon slices in the shape of a cake.
