of us. We need a chance to get away, a chance to explore. The bigger the adventure we get ourselves into, the better! And, it's not that we don't want you guys and Cousin Cole along, it's just 
that you're not quite ready yet to keep up. When you're a little bigger and don't need to nap anymore, the three of you will definitely join us on these "brothers days".
The last time Uncle Bart was here, we had a wild adventure along
the Lost Coast for 2 days. This time, we had only one day so we made the most of it. We were up by 3:30 a.m. and on the road before 4 a.m. From 
there, it was one thing after another. Star gazing from the top of Monitor Pass. Sunrise along the Bodie Road at 8500 feet and looking at miles and miles and miles of the Sierra Range stretching across the horizon in front of us. Tufa formations at Mono Lake's south shore. Staring at mirror-perfect 
reflections in the lakes of the Inyo Craters. Admiring the minarets from the Minarets Road. Puzzling at the geometric perfection that is the Devil's Postpile. Hiking through the fire-ravaged Ansel Adams Wilderness to majestic Rainbow Falls. Hiking an intense 9-mile round trip to incredible Shadow Lake right under 
the Ritter Range. Wondering why Hot Creek has been closed to bathers, and finishing the long day off with a soak in Wild Willy's natural hotspring with its exceptional
mountain views. Yes, all that in one day and we still made it home in time for dinner with the families.
That is what we call a "brothers day". That is what you'll be joining us for in the coming years so you can either get excited about Uncle Bart's visits or dread them. Hopefully, you, Rai and Ko, will continue the tradition and create another generation's worth of "brothers days"!
