We've been reading books about potty training to Rai for many, many months but we've held off on potty training because he didn't seem to fully understand what it was all about. Now, he
does. There is no doubt that Rai gets a lot of what is happening around him. "Poo" and "pee" are common words in our house. With all this toilet talk in our house, we knew that our summer at the cabin would be a perfect time to potty train little Rai.Here, out in the wild, we can just send him running around half naked (the bottom half). It only took a couple of accidents for him to
understand the "feeling" he should be aware of. All in all, its been a big success. In just two or three days, Rai has learned to tell us when something is about to happen and has lots of success on the potty to keep him motivated. Rai is well on his way to kicking his poo habit and I'll take cleaning him up once in a while over changing diapers any day!
