In the age of Craigslist and Goodwills in every corner of the city, our family buying something new
is less likely than meeting a talking giraffe on the street. We buy used, almost exclusively. Once in a while, though, a new item does sneak it's way into our home, usually in the form of a gift.
The latest such item was a great Andean wool sweater for Rai, a gift from Auntie Peggy. It's beautiful and looks wonderful on Rai. It also matches a couple sweaters we picked up in that part of the world during our travels so I couldn't resist matching with Rai on the first day he wore his new sweater. We look good together, if I do say so myself!
