When asked how you're doing, Rai, with your cast, we usually give the same answer: "He's great! The first two days were tough, but after that, everything's been fine." Actually, lately, we've even added a bit to that standard response. "There's one good thing about the cast and that is that Rai is finally attempting to crawl!"
You skipped the crawling stage entirely. No matter how much 'tummy time' we gave you, you never got too excited about moving around on your hands and knees. Standing, however, now that was exciting! So, by 10 months, you were walking. By eleven months, you were walking well. Then, the broken leg happened.
Standing and walking with the cast has been impossible. So, determined to keep moving around, you have, slowly but surely, figured out how to crawl... with the cast. It's a bit sad but amusing at the same time to see you drag that casted leg behind you but, at least you've finally taught yourself how to crawl!
