Happy Birthday, Grandma!

Rai, as you know, yesterday was your Grandma's birthday.
You, and we, have so much to thank your Grandma for. Five days a week, for nearly seven months, your Grandma has taken care of you while we're at work. There are all kinds of ways to babysit. Your Grandma is on the 'incredible babysitter' end of the spectrum. Spending the days with you, for her, means reading time, song time, puppet theater time, snack time, exercise time, playing at the park time, and all this infused with more love than you can even imagine.
What began back in August as something your Grandma was a little worried about, trying to get every single aspect of babysitting just right, has turned into something your Grandma loves so much. Her bond with you is unbreakable and the power of that bond is evident every time you see her. Your eyes light up, your arms stretch out, and you begin to reach and talk in that, "get me into Grandma's arms right now' kind of way. A match made in heaven.
So on her birthday, we thank your Grandma for all the love and perfection that she has put into the raising of you, little Rai. Thank you Grandma and happy birthday!
