Our second day in Normandy. After brief stops in Caen and Bayeux, we arrived in the early evening at one of France's most famous historic sights: Mont St.Michel. The ancient monastery on a rock was everything we imagined it to be. We could feel the energy and spirit of generations as we walked the stone lanes and halls.
