Just before crossing the border from Slovakia to Hungary, we got our first taste of the Secessionist architectural style that is an important part of the history of the region -- the border town of Komarno has an interesting town center. The most memorable part of our visit to Budapest were the 4 parking tickets that I was able to accrue in a 23 hour period. Jokes aside, the riverside in Budapest is pretty unforgettable, the thermal springs at Szechenyi so relaxing, and a visit to the golden halls of the Parliament Building are something else.
