Day 1 on the road in France. Just out of Paris, we made a quick stop in La Roche-Guyon before continuing to Monet's home and garden in Giverny. From there, it was the beautiful city of Rouen where we literally had to dip our heads in fountains to get some respite from the heat, and onwards to our farmstay via the quaint villages of Bec-Hellouin, Blangy le Chateau, and Lisieux. We were now in the Pays d'Auge, the lands of the Auge River and the countryside here was beautiful!
