For Ash's birthday, we took a little weekend trip to Latvia's west coast, centered around the city of Liepaja. We stayed in a small apartment in a turn-of-the-century brick building that has been extensively, and stylishly refurbished. Fall is definitely turning to winter now so it was cold, windy, rainy, and dark weekend. Still, there's lots to appreciate in this historic city so we made the most of our couple days there. Happy Birthday, Ash! Love you.
