Bollywood Veggies

It's no secret that, by anyone's standards, Singapore is a tiny nation. There's just not much open space here so agriculture is something that most Singaporeans have little exposure to. Produce, in general comes from Malaysia or beyond. Still, a small group of dedicated Singaporeans have committed to combat this issue. The Kranji Farms co-operative is the result and, although a bit fabricated and touristy, the collection of farms way up in the north-western frontier of Singapore Island is definetly a successful farming project. Last weekend, we visited the best of the bunch, Bollywood Veggies. The cafe with health eats made solely of locally grown veggies is worth the visit alone!
