Coney Island

One of the things we're most happy about living in Singapore is it's fantastic access to so many awesome travel destinations. Even on weekends we can get away to some great places. Places such as Coney Island. That's right, Coney Island! That's where we traveled to yesterday. We rented some bikes, cruised the island, ate some corndogs, rode a roller coaster or two. Well, okay, it wasn't exactly like that. Let's just replace corndog with fried noodles, and roller coaster with light rail train. This was not Coney Island, New York but Coney Island, Singapore. Perhaps to avoid confusion, they should revert back to the original name: Pulau Serangoon. Anyway, it was a fun day and the park and river system up in Punggol town is quite nice and very relaxing.
