The Long Way Home - Day 1: Highway 395

Instead of taking the usual 4-hour route home from the cabin, we decided to take the long way home. It'll be a 6 day road trip. One Day 1, we followed highway 395 south, following the Eastern Sierra through Bishop, Big Pine, Independence, and finishing at Lone Pine.  Along the way, we did a few miles along the beautiful Rock Creek Trail into Little Lakes Valley but were (sadly) rained out when attempting the Long Lake Trail from South Lake above Bishop. Fortunately, Keogh's Hot Springs weren't far away so I could dry my tears there.
