Home Away from Home

After spending 4 months of the year for three years at the cabin, Markleeville has become a second home for us. But a home isn't much without community. In Markleeville, the community is small and we know many of the townspeople already. We see them often at the unofficial community center, the town library. And, one person in particular has become like family. We got affirmation of this familial tie during this visit when Lisa shared her sacred light sabers with us. We have joined her Jedi clan.
