No matter how much I enjoy my job, there's still nothing better than taking a day off and spending it with
the boys. I was able to take a Friday off a week ago and got to spend the entire day with Rai. We had a real "father and son" day, doing those classic father and son activities such as observing ostriches, admiring moss gardens, riding elevators, and chasing butterflies. We even were able to confirm that the albino alligator at the Academy of Sciences is indeed alive -- it's not just a statue! He moved! It was perfect day!
