counting down to midnight, though, we counted down to 7:30, when all the kids paraded down the stairs and into the streets before all their parents snatched them up and took them home for their bedtimes. Ashe and I were lucky enough to have the chance to sneak out for a bit (thanks, Grandpa!) to see our first movie at the theater in a long, long time before hitting the streets of S.F. again to see what things look like 30 minutes before the New Year and, let me say, it's not a pretty sight.

Happy New Year!
A dance party at Lalima's was the realization of Rai's "dream" New Year's Eve party. Instead of
counting down to midnight, though, we counted down to 7:30, when all the kids paraded down the stairs and into the streets before all their parents snatched them up and took them home for their bedtimes. Ashe and I were lucky enough to have the chance to sneak out for a bit (thanks, Grandpa!) to see our first movie at the theater in a long, long time before hitting the streets of S.F. again to see what things look like 30 minutes before the New Year and, let me say, it's not a pretty sight.
