Kotaru was looking up at a Duplo tower that Rai and I built the other day. The look in his eyes was
a mix of awe and admiration with a touch of wonder, too. It seemed so tall, so beyond his reach and ability. But, all it took was to put Rai's old
"Future Math Major" (thanks, fellow math teachers!) onesie on and any fear or inadequacy that he may have felt quickly melted away. Math majors can do anything! And, if not do anything, well, then build or create anything, anyway! As my students like to say, Kotaru, "Do math. Do good."
