As if the vast expanse of green that is Golden Gate Park is not enough, San Francisco is lucky enough to have another giant park right in the heart of the city. Once a naval base and residence off limits to city residents, the Presidio is now open to all and, every year, seems to become a better and better escape from the city for everyone looking for some biking, hiking, or just laying the grass.
