Famous as a nexus for the Hippy Movement of the late '60s, the Haight remains a vibrant, alternative neighborhood at the city end of Golden Gate Park and, for us, an area that will always feel nostalgic as, long, long ago we lived in apartments on either side of the Panhandle Park. For the boys, the Pinball Arcade in the Haight was a favorite spot during our 2.5 weeks here.
