Social Distancing - Summer in the Arctic: More of Lapland

Returning to Finland from Norway, we spent some more time in Lapland. This was a rainy period of our trip but the isolation of this region can be enjoyed rain or shine. It was great to continue to get to know the Sami culture while passing through. We began with the island of Hamaroy just south of the Lofoten Islands in Norway. From there, we returned to Finland via the "finger of Finland", passing through Kilpisjarvi where we the great lodge gave us a place to dry off by the fire, get some internet access and, for the boys, a place to watch some Netflix! From there, we were southbound, passing through Pallas Yllastunturin National Park, the forest art installations at Oranki, and the capital of Lapland, Rovaniemi.
