Our Spring holiday has begun but, unfortunately, we don't find ourselves in Denmark, where we were to be on this holiday. So, instead of visiting Legoland, we spent a couple of days building a tree fort outside. I was going to say that it was "for the boys" but, really, Ash and I will enjoy it as much as they will. We first built a platform supported by three legs and our apple tree as the fourth leg. Then, we gathered as many fallen branches and large tree limbs from the forest as we could and used them to surround the ground floor so it is now a sheltered area. Final touch: some flags and other decorations. Now, it is a very welcoming spot in the yard and the boys have gotten a lot of use out of it already, playing with our neighbors' son Evards. It will be a great place to spend some time during the warm, sunny days this summer! Oh, by the way, Happy Easter, too!
