Spring Holiday - Hiiumaa Island

Much of our spring holiday was centered around a stay on peaceful, quiet, and out of the way Hiiumaa Island in Estonia. Requiring a ferry trip of more than an hour, this island is just far enough to make it a place that feels far from it all and well off the beaten track. It's beautiful coastline and historic farms, churches, and lighthouses made it one of the best places we've visited in the Baltics and, who knew, it's far western tip is home to the little known Surfer's Paradise! For us, that's exactly what the entire island is: paradise.
