Wild West

While down in the Mammoth Lakes area we decided to take a drive even further south to Bishop. Having made National Geographic Adventure magazine's list of top 5 adventure towns in the U.S., we had high expectations of Bishop. The town itself disappointed (greatly) but the valley and surrounding mountains are certainly spectacular. We had only a few hours, though, so we couldn't explore too much leaving us time only to visit the amazing Law's Railroad and History Museum, Lake Sabrina, and Travertine Hot Springs. It was a great day!
