Rai is 5 Years Old!

If this is how we feel now, I can't imagine what the tenth birthday will be like. Celebrating Rai's 5th birthday brings as much a mix of emotions as anything we've ever been through. It's like each extreme tugs at us, trying to firmly establish itself as the prevailing emotion of the day. We're so proud of Rai and the boy he has become but, on the other hand, we can't believe he's growing up so quickly and that time is slipping through our fingers. We just have to enjoy every day and remember that each stage is wonderful and rewarding. Happy Birthday, Rai -- you are such a beautiful, little boy. And, again, we can't thank Grandma and Grandpa enough for putting together a special party that you'll never forget! Oh, and that cake! Somehow Grandma created, in real life, the exact cake only a little boy's imagination could dream up...
